Urban Shelter Limited commenced Commercial Operations in 1991 under the control of its able Chairman Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu. The vision has always been to be a first class institution that delivers exquisite, prestigous and distinctive shelter to all strata of society in an environment friendly manner using state of the art technology driven by well motivated personnel.

Managed largely along family lines by a four member board of Directors, its day to day operations are undertaken by a team of versatile and enterprising young men led by Musa Dangoggo Aliyu (Managing Director and Chief Executive). The officers that manage the company have continuously combined an understanding of finance, development in the Nation's economy and property development which has enabled them to successfully embark and execute extensive property development projects that would defy seemingly large companies.

The Chairman of Urban Shelter Limited is Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu.

This seasoned Banker and Technocrat served in both the private and public sectors of the Nigerian Economy at various managerial capacities. He was at various times in his career, Secretary to the Niger State Government, Head of Investment Supervision, New Nigeria Development Company; Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministries of Police Affairs, Communication and Industries; and former Managing Director, N.I.D.B.

He holds First and Second Degrees in Economics from ABU, Zaria; and Harvard University, U.S.A., respectively. Past positions of relevance include the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of Icon Merchant Bankers; Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation, Deputy Chairman, NITEL PLC; and member of the Board of Directors of UNTL Kaduna; Urban Development Bank; and currently he is the Chairman of many companies among which are: Intercellular Nig. Ltd., Shelter Clay Products Ltd., Aluminium Metal Technologies Ltd., and Shelter Suites Hotels Ltd.

Managing the day to day affairs of the company is a team led by Musa Dangoggo Aliyu, BA, MBA (Managing Director and Chief Executive).
As graduate of Bayero & Ahmadu Bello Universities respectively, Musa Dangoggo Aliyu, is a holder of B.A (Comb. Hons.) English/Political Science, and MBA.

He has been in the business of Property Development & Management since graduation. Being the Chairman of Techno Shelter Limited, he also oversees the running of other subsidiary companies.
