It was a night filled with excitement and felicitations as Urban Shelter LTD, Nigerian Foremost real estate company, celebrated Dr. Chika Apkorji, also known as Dr. Chii, the pioneer Executive Director in charge of Policy, Strategy and Partnerships, of the NIGERIAN MORTGAGE REFINANCING COMPANY, NMRC, on her retirement from service after attaining the statutory age of retirement.
The celebration party was well attended by Chairmen, CEOs, MDs and several C-suits executives of major stakeholders in the real estate sector and financial institutions.
Among the dignitaries at the event were the Chairman of Urban Shelter Ltd, Mal. Ibranhim Aliyu, MD/CEO of Urban Shelter Ltd, Haj. Saadiya Aminu, MD/CEO - PISON Housing,
Roland Igbinoba, Chairman of Millard Fuller Housing, Dr Sam Odia, Fmr. MD - NMRC, Prof. and Arc. Mrs. Charles Inyangete, ED - Brains and Hammers, Ifeoma Okoye, MD/CEO - NMRC, Kehinde Ogundimu, and many others.
In honour of the beloved celebrant, a special poem dedicated to her was rendered by one of Abuja famous Poets, Ruth Mahogany. Also a distinct video biography of Dr. Chii was shot with several business partners, friends and family members dishing out unprecedented good will messages in honor of Dr. Chii.
In her remarks, Dr. Chii was full of praises and appreciations to Urban Shelter LTD for hosting a celebration dinner in her honour, and all the guest for greasing the occasion with their presence. She also highlighted the achievements of the NMRC during her tenure and emphasis laid on the future of the Nigerian Real Estate in relation to the activities of the NMRC towards providing affordable housing for all.
In closing, Urban Shelter LTD, presented to the guests its unique product line with a sensational payment term that allows just about anyone to be able to pay for a home within 5 years while taking possession of the property at year two upon payment of 50% of the value of the property.
