Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu is currently the Chairman of Urban Shelter Limited. He also provides leadership to a number of businesses including Intercellular Plc; North South Power, Ltd; ACPML, Ltd; Shelter Clay Ltd and Shelter Suites & Hotels, a hotelier with license to operate hotels under the Wyndham Group USA franchise.

Hajiya Asabe Aliyu
Director

Is a Pittsburgh University, USA, graduate in English Education. Hajiya Asabe was in the Teaching profession for over 10 years educating and nurturing the minds of the leaders of tomorrow. On retirement from the educational system she initiated a successful niche in the Textile industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Shelter where she contributes to the strategic objectives of the Company.

Muktar Ibrahim
Director/AGM

Muktar Ibrahim is Director as well as Project Manager/Coordinator for Urban Shelter and its subsidiary company,Urban Abode. He is also a Director for Shelter Clay Products Ltd, a sister company that manufactures assorted burnt clay bricks. Mr. Ibrahim has a degree in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, he graduated Cum Laude Honors. He also holds an 'award of excellence' from the New York Council of the American Society of Registered Architects.

Faruk Aliyu
Managing Director

Faruk Aliyu holds a bachelor degree in Information Technology from Drexel University, Philadelphia and Master Degree in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University, Washington DC. He is an astute real estate development expert with over a decade experience. Faruk is also the Managing Director at Shelter Suites & Hotels, a leading hotel development and operating company in Nigeria. SS&HL is currently developing several hotel projects across Nigeria. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Hotels Owners Forum Abuja, and currently sits on the board of several major companies spanning interests from agriculture to mining. Faruk has a passion for volunteer work and social activities. He's spent time volunteering as a coach at the Haverford School and his life's goal is to run his community initiative program 'ball for one' which aims to empower youth through sports in Nigeria. He has various hobbies ranging from wrestling to building model airplanes. Faruk lives in Abuja, Nigeria with his wife and son.
